Martinez Beaver Festival – August 1, 2015

A friend and I went to the Martinez Beaver Festival.  We saw some beaver dams and obvious 
signs of beavers around the area, but the beavers don't generally come out during the
day.  There were lots of booths and vendors in a small park and some knowledgeable 
folks that provided information about the beavers and their history in the area.

If you want to see beavers, go at dusk.  We wandered around the festival a bit 
and then took a short hike.
